Brad Powell
Co-Founder, CEO
J.Brad Powell is a founding leader of Amperage and Managing Director for Emerson Collective. Brad’s work focuses on directing diligence, coordinating research, and advising energy and environment portfolio companies that are disrupting the mobility, water, and renewable energy sectors. Brad also sits on the board of more than a dozen innovative and impactful companies within the Education Technology sector. Brad’s career has spanned many different sectors, including public accounting, management consulting, financial services and commercial real estate. Brad earned an undergraduate degree in accounting and computer science and holds two graduate degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Real Estate and an MBA from the Sloan School of Management.
Joe Grech
Joe Grech is a seasoned executive leader providing insights to Amperage and our clients. With a distinguished career spanning the global telecommunications industry, Joe brings invaluable leadership and expertise to the table. Beginning with his roots in Engineering, Joe has held key leadership positions within major operators, manufacturers and services providers, including Executive Vice-President Technology & Operations at TELUS Communications, President of the TELUS Partner Solutions division, President of Cable & Wireless Global Networks, and Chief Operating Officer at Ledcor Technical Services. Notably and recently, he also served as President of AFL Network Services. Joe has served on a number of Private and Philanthropic Boards. Now, Joe leverages his wealth of experience to drive financial growth and deliver unparalleled network and client success services.
Jack Lawrence
Co-Founder, CFO
Jack Lawrence is a highly regarded senior executive with a forward-thinking mindset, drawing upon decades of experience to ensure the operational excellence and financial vitality of both private and public companies spanning diverse industries. Currently, Jack serves as CFO and Chief Investment Officer of Amperage. Jack has held leadership positions including CFO and CAO at Finxera, Inc., President and CEO at ZoomSystems. His past roles also include VP Finance, Division CFO, and UK Finance Director at AT&T Inc. and Chamber Communications Inc. Jack holds a BSBA in Finance from Georgetown University, an MBA in Management from Rutgers University and an MBA in Accounting and International Business from Seton Hall University.
